When I discovered Pine Mountain Campground during the winter of 2000 it was in need of a lot of attention. At the time it consisted of just 30 campsites, an old trailer house and a few seasonal RV residents; it was just the project I had been looking for! Taking the better part of 5 years to get the property back in shape and build a clientele I then set out upon my goal of building a resort from the ground up with my own two hands. Candy and I married in 2005 and since then it’s been a nonstop flurry of construction and improving the property with very little being the same as it was in 2005. We are truly a “ma and pa” operation and run the entire operation by ourselves. Needless to say we stay quite busy but one thing we are never too busy for is to provide our guests with something often forgotten in this day and age… hospitality and personal attention. Whether you have a family or group that’s looking for a new vacation “home”, want to do some fishing or simply want to get away from it all, we are the place for you!!
