Dcolorex's mission is to share knowledge, experiences, and passion for Art as a way of self- expression. DColorex offers an artistically stimulation, in a non-competitive environment, to enhance students’ skills, build up self-esteem, and promote knowledge and understanding of art as self-expression. Using different media (watercolor, acrylic, etc.) and different methods and techniques such drawing, painting, collage, mosaic, the students will develop their capacity to know, understand, create and talk about artwork. We will work on still lives, landscapes, floral and waterscape’s themes to learn the basic elements and principles of composition, color theory, negative and positive space, perspective, developing skills of perception, fine motor coordination, and memory to detail. Almost every class they will go home proud of themselves, bringing a masterpiece, a splendid smile and a sense of accomplishment.
