The highly popular Kimama summer camps welcomed their first happy campers 18 years ago. A choice group of educators and youth guides, Israeli emissaries who had led summer camps in the States, grasped the huge importance of an Israel-based encounter between young people from all over the world. And so they founded Kimama. That was the auspicious beginning. In the years that passed, Camp Kimama has become a household name, a beloved and sought-after summer-vacation experience. It has created a lively network of children and youth that is constantly growing, active all year round, with its heart and core in Israel. Camp Kimama is a one-of-a-kind international summer camp held in Israel, with thousands of participants each year, aged 6-17, from 40 different countries around the world.
