1 in 2 – Half of all individuals with disabilities get no physical activity (CDC). Access to athletic opportunities is a given for able bodied individuals, but individuals with disabilities are often left out of this common experience. The Adaptive Sports Foundation provides a variety of opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to discover a lifelong passion for outdoor physical activity. Since 1984, the ASF has provided 79,000+ adaptive lessons which allowed 13,253 individuals lead healthier and more active lives.
